Composition

Each g contains:

Amprolium Hydrochloride............200mg

Sulfaquinoxaline Sodium.............150mg

Vitamin A...................................15000IU

Vitamin K3........................................5mg


Indication

Coccidiosis in calves, sheep, goats and poultry. Amprolium is an anticoccidial with activity against Eimeria spp., especially Eimeria tenella and Eimeria necatrix. Sulfaquinoxaline is a chemotherapeutic with a bacteriostatic activity against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and has also coccidiostatic activity against Eimeria spp. Vitamins are essential for the proper operation of several physiological functions.


Administration and Dosage

For oral administration:

Calves, sheep and goats:

Preventive: 1 g per 50 - 100 kg body weight through drinking water or milk for 21 days.

Curative: 5 g per 25 - 50 kg body weight through drinking water or milk for 5 days.

Poultry: 20 g per 20 - 40 litres of drinking water for 5 - 7 days.

Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.


Contraindication

Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to amprolium and/or sulfaquinoxaline.

Do not administration to animals with impaired hepatic and/or renal functions.


Adverse Reaction

At high dosages in laying hens egg-drop and in broilers growth inhibition and polyneuritis can occur. Other side effects may include crystalluria, anaemia, leucopenia and thrombocytopenia. 


Precaution

Do not administer to laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.


Withdrawal Time 

For meat:

Calves, sheep and goats: 14 days

Poultry: 14 days

Tightly sealed, store in a dry and dark place.
