Indications

Buceftri is indicated for the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible organisms: Respiratory tract infection, acute bacterial otitis media, skin structure infection, urinary tract infection, bone & joint infection, intra abdominal infection.

Administration and Dosage

For intramuscular injection:

Calves, sheep, goats: 1 ml/10kg body weight/72 hours.

Buffalo, cows: 1 ml/20 kg body weight/72 hours.

On poultry: 1 ml/4 kg body weight/72 hours.

In severe disease, repeat injection after 36 hours.

Contraindication

Do not use in animals previously found to be hypersensitive to ceftriaxone.

Adverse Reaction

Fleeting symptoms of pain may be observed at the injection site.

Hypersensitivity reactions can occasionally occur. In the case of an allergic reaction, treatment should be stopped.

Withdrawal Time

For meat: 28 days

For milk: 7 days

Storage and Expired Time

Tightly sealed, store in a cool and dry place, protect from light.
