Indication

Prostaglandins have a strong effect in dissolving the corpus luteum and directly stimulating uterine smooth muscle. They are mainly used to control estrus synchronization in cows and induce parturition in pregnant sows.

Administration and Dosage

Intramuscular injection: 

Single dose, cattle 0.2-0.3 mg; pigs, 0.05-0.1 mg on day 112-113 of gestation.

Adverse Reaction

Using this product in late pregnancy may increase the risk of dystocia in animals and reduce its efficacy.

Precaution

(1) This product is contraindicated in pregnant animals.

(2) It must not be used prematurely during induction of parturition.

(3) This product can induce abortion or acute bronchospasm. Use with caution, especially in pregnant women and individuals with asthma or other respiratory diseases.

(4) If inhalation or injection of this product causes respiratory distress, a fast-acting bronchodilator can be inhaled.

(5) This product is readily absorbed through the skin. Wear rubber or disposable protective gloves during handling. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before drinking water or eating. If this product comes into contact with or splashes on the skin, rinse immediately with clean water.

(6) This product should not be used concurrently with antipyretics, analgesics, or anti-inflammatory drugs.

(7) After use, empty bottles should be buried deeply or incinerated. Waste generated from this product should be disposed of in approved waste treatment facilities. Undiluted product must not be disposed of on-site. Do not allow this product to contaminate drinking water, feed, or food.
