Description
Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole-derivatives with activity against a broad range of
worms and at higher dosage level also against adult stages of liverfluke.

Indications
Prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in calves, cattle:
Gastrointestinal worms: Bunostomum, Cooperia, Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides
and Trichostrongylus spp.
Lung worms: Dictyocaulus viviparous and Dictyocaulus filaria
Tapeworms: Monieza spp.
Liver-fluke: adult Fasciola hepatica

Administration and Dosage
Calves and cattle:
Roundworms, lungworms and tapeworms: 1 bolus for 300 kg body weight orally.
Adult liver-fluke: 1 bolus for 250 kg body weight orally.

Precautions
Do not use Albendazole Boluses for an animal that:
Have an allergy or hypersensitivity to any ingredients.
In the first trimester of pregnancy.
Has liver disease.
Has a disorder or disease that affects the blood.
This drug should be used with caution in pregnant or lactating animals.

Contraindications
Administration in the first 45 days of gestation.

Side Effects
When given at the recommended dosage, there have been few reported side effects caused by the use of Albendazole Boluses. Some side
effects may include but are not limited to appetite change and lethargy. Teratogenic and embryotoxic effects in early gestation animals.

Withdrawal Time
For meat: cattle: 14 days
For milk: 60 hours

Storage and Expired Time
Store in a cool and dry place, protect from direct heat and light.
