Indication

Bulaben 300 is a green colored oblong scored on one side bolus & it is a broad spectrum anthelmintic which is extremely active against most nematode and some cestodes worms including tape worms & adult liver fluke.


Indication

A broad spectrum anthelmintic for treatment of gastrointestinal infection of Ring worms, Lungworms, Tapeworms, Liver Flukes and Amphistomes. Albendazole has also an ovicidal effect. This product is a new high-efficiency broad-spectrum anthelmintic drug, which has a broad anthelmintic spectrum and the strongest insecticidal effect among the benzimidazole drugs. It is highly active against nematodes, schistosomiasis, and tapeworms, and has a significant inhibitory effect on the development of eggs. Albendazole is a treatment for parasites, but it is not effective for insects.


Administration and Dosage

For the removal of Tape Worms, Thread Necked Intestinal Worm, Hook Worm, Bankrupt Worm, Nodular Worm, give 7.5 mg of Albendazole per kg of body weight.

For the removal of Adult Liver Flukes, give 15 mg of Albendazole per kg of body weight. This corresponds to 1 bolus per 40 kg for round worms and 1 bolus per 20-30 kg for liver fluke.


Side Effects

Albendazole is tolerated without signification adverse effects when administered at recommended dose.

Salivation, diarrhea, and rarely foaming of the muzzle may be observed in sheep, but will disappear within few hours.


Precaution

It should not be used in animals at mating or during early pregnancy.

Wash hands after administering the treatment.

The product should not be handled by pregnant women.

Keep the drug out of reach of children.

For meat: 14 days

For milk: 3 days
