Composition
Each ml contains:

Procaine Penicillin………….300mg

Indication

This product is indicated for treatment of shipping fever syndrome, wound infections, foot and navel infections, bronchitis, and tracheitis, mastitis, wound infections, bronchitis due to the following bacteria sensitive to penicillin in cattle, horses, sheep and pigs ,like Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Actinomycetes, Bacillus anthracis, Spirochetes, etc.

Administration and Dosage

For intramuscular Injection:

Cattle, horses: 0.33-0.67 ml/10kg body weight; Sheep and pigs: 0.67-1ml/10kg body weight.

Once daily for 2-3 days.

Contraindications

Do not use in known cases of hypersensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, procaine

or to any of the excipients.

Do not use in cases of severe renal dysfunction with anuria and oliguria.

Do not use in the presence of β -lactamase producing pathogens

Adverse Reaction

In suckling and fattening pigs, pyrexia, vomiting, shivering, listlessness and incoordination have been reported rarely, which may be caused by the release of procaine.

In pregnant sows and gilts, a vulvar discharge which could be associated with abortion has been reported rarely.

Withdrawal Time

Cattle: 10 days; Sheep: 9 days; Pigs: 7 days

For milk: 48 hours

Storage and Expired Time

Tightly sealed, store in a dry, cool and dark place.
