Sulfadiazine Sodium……308.9mg

Indication

For the treatment of hypocalcaemia complicated by deficiency of magnesium with accompanying hypoglycaemia in sheep. And treatment of pregnancy, toxaemia and other metabolic imbalances in periparturient sheep.

Administration and Dosage

For subcutaneous Injection:

Cattle, sheep and goats: Initial dose: 6 ml/10kg body weight at first day.

Maintenance dose: 3 ml/10kg body weight for 5 days.

Contraindication

Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.

Precaution

It’s easy to crystallize in the urinary tract, animals should be given plenty of water. And a large dose, long-term use should be given the same amount of sodium bicarbonate.

When renal function is impaired, excretion is slow, should be used with caution.

Pay attention to cross-allergic reactions. If animals have allergic reactions, stop the medicine immediately and give symptomatic treatment.

Withdrawal Time

For meat: 10 days

For milk: 5 days
