Thiamphenicol……….300mg

Indication 

Thiamphenicol oral solution is indicated for the treatment of respiratory infections, Salmonellosis, gastro-enteritis, meningitis and encephalitis caused by micro-organisms susceptible to thiamphenicol in cattle and poultry.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration via drinking water. 

Cattle: 6.5 -10 ml / 10 liters of drinking water, daily, for 3 - 5 days. 

Poultry: 5 - 6.5 ml / 10 liters of drinking water, daily, for 3 - 5 days.

Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours. 

Side-effects

Dose-dependent reversible depression of the bone-marrow, haematological dyscrasias, gastrointestinal disturbances and cutaneous eruptions.

Contraindications

Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to thiamphenicol. 

Do not administer to animals with an active rumen and intestinal microbial flora. 

Do not administer to animals with an impaired kidney function. 

Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.

Withdrawal Time

Meat and offal: 18 days 

Milk: 5 days

Storage and Expired Time

Tightly sealed, store below 30oC and avoid direct sunlight.
