Albendazole is an "antihelmintic," or anti-worm, medication. It prevents worms from growing or multiplying in your body. Albendazole is used to treat infections caused by worms such as pork tapeworm and dog tapeworm. Albendazole interferes with various energy-producing processes of helminths (worms), including impairing the uptake of glucose (sugar) for energy. Albendazole is a medication which is used as an adjunct in the treatment of hydatid disease. Hydatid disease is caused by the parasite Echinococcus granulosus or Echinococcus multilocularis and presents as fluid-filled sacs (cysts) that grow in the liver, lungs and brain of infected individuals.

today I will be showing you a vet approved way of syringe feeding liquid medicine this can be difficult to do and practice is really necessary. I know some people will suggest that I am a bad owner by the way I held fudge whilst administering the medicine but this is the way I have been shown by a vet. I hope your pet gets better and the best of luck,
This at the time of posting is a vet approved
way of administering medicine and I am
not liable for the death of your pet if this
method of giving medicine doesn’t work,
also if you are bitten it isn’t
my fault. Remember this method won’t work
for every pet.
The reason this is not for dwarf hamsters is because they are so small and fragile and difficult to handle so far I have never had to give medication to my dwarfs so I have no experience of how to go about it I hope this helped owners out there who are struggling to give medicine.
