Indication
Kankaron is a specific drug which is indicated for the treatment and prevention of Canker (Trichomonas infection) in pigeons.
Administration and Dosage
For oral administration via drinking water:
Pigeons: For treatment, 1 gm/3 liters of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days;
For prevention, 1 gm/3 liters of drinking water for 3 consecutive days.
Precaution
This product has little toxicity, and its metabolites often make urine reddish brown. When the dose is too large, it is easy to have light tongue, gastritis, nausea, vomiting, leucopenia and even neurological symptoms, but pets are well tolerated.
It can pass through placental barrier and breast barrier, not suitable for lactation and early pregnant animals.
