Indication
For prevention & treatment of Encephalomalacia, Exudative diathesis, Muscular dystrophy, Low egg production, Poor hatchability, Infertility & Lowered vitamin A metabolism in poultry & other animals.
Administration and Dosage
For oral administration via drinking water.
Poultry: 1kg per 400 liters of drinking water for 3 – 5 days
Chicks (< 21 d): 1kg per 400 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Calves, goats and sheep: 5.5g per 80 kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Cattle: 5.5g per 160 kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Adverse Reaction
Selenium is highly toxic, and internal administration of 10 mg of sodium selenite to young lambs can cause depression, respiratory distress, frequent urination, dilated pupils, dilated pupils and death.
Precautions
Do not overdose this product. Selenium is highly toxic, excessive is easy to cause animal poisoning, poisoning manifested by vomiting, weakness, respiratory depression and other symptoms, serious can lead to death.
