Indication
For the treatment and prevention of muscular dystrophy in calves, lambs, pigs;
Muscle overwork;
Neuritis, myositis, mioastenie;
Hepatosis dietetica and microangiopathy of pigs
Administration and Dosage
For intramuscular, subcutaneus or slow intravenous injection:
Calves, horses: 10-20ml
Lambs: 10ml
Pigs: 10ml
As a treatment: one injecton a day during 5 days
As preventive: one injection a week for 5 weeks, after the 10th day after birth
Adverse Reaction
Selenium is highly toxic, a single dose of 10 mg sodium selenite will cause mental depression, dyspnea, frequent urination, pupil dilation, dilation and death in lambs.
Precaution
Do not overdose this product. Selenium is highly toxic, excessive is easy to cause animal poisoning, poisoning manifested by vomiting, weakness, respiratory depression and other symptoms, serious can lead to death.
